Today wasn't really busy, but I am a little frustrated that I can't get laundry done again because my laundry card is messed up and there are no more to dispense from the machine and the lady in the office doesn't have any either. The night before, when I tried to load it the office was closed and the other card reader wasn't working (well found out it's my card) so I've been trying to do it a couple days now. Laundry people are supposed to be here tomorrow, so hopefully I can get a new card!

Plus our stove/oven hasn't been working for about a week now and I just now managed to tell them about it. They came in right away and will be back in the morning to look at it with someone else. Hopefully we can get a new one as I believe it has finally just died.

Anyways, here are my cute pictures of Michael today! You can see him clapping in the 4th and 5th one!

Another busy day. We had all of our friends over and it was great! I had such an amazing time, but once again hardly had my camera out. Johanna took a cute closeup of Michael when I showed her my flash.

Then later I snapped a quick shot of Michael playing with an empty camera case!

So remember, I said I was really busy? Only picture I have for this day is my pretty pedicure! I was going to get flowers, but I ended up finding out the girl who did my toes thought that designs were much more fun and interesting. So I told her to have at it and create whatever she wanted as it would be more fun for her that way. I have to say I am not disappointed! (Sorry for the ugly toe picture, just look at the cute paint job!) She even put a cute little gold gem in the corner of my nail. Sadly my other toe already got messed up, I kicked it or something!

So today Michael and I went to his doctor's appointment. At 9.5 months he is 20 lbs 11 oz, and 29.5 inches tall! My big boy, I love him. Today was a crappy cell phone picture day.

After his appointment, my good friend Johanna called and asked if I'd like to go out with her. So we went to Panera Bread and then went shopping all day. We also got our nails done! It was a wonderful wonderful day. In the end she came over for an hour or two and we Zumba'd on the Kinect and had a good time. Being out all day, the above is the only picture I have.

So, Jello stayed the night and Michael got to wake him up. It was hilarious, I put Michael down in the living room to play (it was almost noon already) and when he realized there was someone on the couch he had to investigate!

01-26-11

So, I've had a busy couple of days and I still took at least one picture a day (even if it was on my cellphone) but I haven't had time to post them. So now I'm going to catch up!

Today we went to Frank and Sons. Basically it's geek heaven. Mike, Michael and I went with our good friend Jello, and our newer friends from Mike's work, Eric and Rob. I had a blast, and poor Michael (who got carried around in his Jeep carrier on either Mike or I) was so excited that by the time we left, he had pooped himself out!

While at Frank and Sons, we bought some Magic Cards, and we bought Jello some for his birthday as well! He loves his new deck, and I'm glad, he really needed a new one to play. I got some really awesome cards as well, if any of you play, I got 4 mythics and a bunch of awesome rares. We also bought Michael a Jack Skelington onesie.

When we left, we decieded we would eat and then drive home because we didn't want to sit through rush hour traffic. I ended up passing the Carl's Jr (which is the only thing nearby) and had to drive quite a ways before I could turn around. We finally got there and got out, Jello picked Michael up out of his carseat and didn't wake Michael up. Which, let me tell you is hard to do! (These first two pictures are from my cellphone, and somehow the size/quality had got switched to low. Boo!)

So I had to go back outside to the car and grab the big stroller so Michael could sleep while we ate. Jello gave him to Mike and went outside with me to get the stroller, once he was in the stroller, none of the movement had woke him up. He was out! That has to tell you how much he wore himself out trying to grab everything and looking at all the people.

We finally left to come home (Rob had to leave while we were still at Frank and Sons) and Jello and Eric came to our house to play some Magic. We had quite a blast!

01-25-11

Today, I am exhausted. Why? I really don't know. I went to bed at a reasonable time, and got lots of sleep, yet I have had a hard time not taking a nap. Rather frustrating actually, especially considering Michael wanted to play and I wasn't up to it. I did play with him though and we had fun, I'm not going to deny him play time just because I'm tired!

We bought 100 balls for him so we could transform his pack-n-play into a ball pit once in a while and let him have fun. We didn't buy the blow up ones because we don't want the cats to pop it. We found out quickly though that 100 balls really isn't all that many.

So tonight, I poured them out on the floor, then I thought, well maybe if I put them in one of those blue tubs....

He had a blast! Don't mind his graham cracker covered face he really enjoyed them.

Also, a question for my fellow photographers! I just recently bought my external flash, and tonight I was having a hard time with it. When it's dark, it doesn't meter through my camera like it's supposed to (might not during the day either, but harder to tell) and I have to guess how to meter my pictures, is there any way to fix that?

01-24-11

Today we stayed home again. Michael wouldn't nap for the longest time, and when I tried to put him in his crib to nap, he decided he'd rather watch the guys with the leaf blowers!

Then of course he noticed Mommy and got all super happy!

So after giving up on the idea of him taking a nap, we went into the living room and had some Goldfish snacks. Michael loves Goldfish. Here he is grabbing some up, he loves to double fist everything he eats.

Then, he decides he would rather use his other hand to choose which fish is the lucky one to be eaten first (or school, he rarely only puts one in his mouth).

But wait! That's not good enough either! He has to go in for the kill, his hands don't know which one is best, but his mouth sure does!

 Haha, not sure why he eats them with his mouth like this at times, but he does it! The cat food isn't even where he can see it to watch them eat and we don't have puppies for him to get the idea off of. We certainly don't eat like that! Here's a view of what I'm sure he sees when he goes in for a kill!

After the goldfish snacks it was time for some good fun with Mommy. Or so Mommy thought, as you can see, kisses were not wanted!

It's okay though, his smile told me he loves me anyway!

I have to say I'm pretty happy how the ones of Michael and I came out. I used the couch to balance the camera and well, I got really good at aiming the camera at myself and others a good couple years ago. I'm just glad they're in focus!

01-23-11

Sadly today wasn't a good day for Michael. I'm not really sure why. Maybe he has another tooth coming in? I'm not sure, but he half cried most of the day. I did what I could to make him happy, but even then he wasn't thrilled. This evening he's been fine though. We have a doctors appointment coming up soon anyways so if something is up by then, I'll definitely ask about it!

That being said, I really didn't have my camera out a lot today. So I hurried to take a couple of pictures.

I have this beautiful bracelet on my desk that I got as a gift from my Mom one year. I have been wanting to wear it, but having a little guy and a magnetic bracelet just don't work together! I love it though! Isn't it pretty?

Looking to my right, my cat Carbuncle was curled up in his bed by me and he was so cute, I had to snap some pictures of course!

He finally got annoyed at me for taking pictures and tried to escape the flash by rolling over away from me. Too cute right? Silly kitty.

Then I realized Michael had woke up and was drinking his bottle, and not wanting to miss taking at least one picture of him a day, I snapped this one. Poor guy looks so tired!

01-22-11

Today, I spent quite a while playing Viva Pinata on the XBox 360. I love that game! So I figured it only right that my picture today relate to that. So, here, I have a picture of the controller I was using.

I also can't go a day without taking a picture of my sweet baby boy, so I have one from tonight of him drinking his baba.

And one more. Technically I took it today, but it was at midnight. I didn't go to bed til after the picture so in my mind I took it yesterday. He looks so sweet sleeping like this!

Alright, another big set of pictures, I think there are like over 20... haha

Michael and I went outside to play since it's so nice out. He wore his new flip flops and briefly wore his new sunglasses as well.

We went out with his ball again. I was hoping maybe he'd play with it a little bit. Last night he started hitting it back to me, but he wasn't interested in it while we were outside. His sunglasses on the other hand...

What's that? Oh must be my cell phone.
